Lisa Marie Hawtin - Founder
Lisa Marie has over 30 years experience in the beauty industry. Having worked and taught for big names such as Estee Lauder, Daniel Sandler’s personal team based at Harrods, Nirvana Spa, The Dorchester and The Four Seasons. Holistic Beauty Academy was always at the back of her mind and developing a new business seemed like an excellent challenge. Lisa Marie began teaching make-up on a one-to-one basis and loved the opportunities it gave her to work with really passionate people. Progressing to teach beauty treatments has built many years of expertise. This step led to amazing jobs in the spa industry and eventually, to opening Holistic Beauty Academy.
Jan Cox - VTCT IQA (Internal Quality Assurer)
Jan has a passion for the health and wellbeing sector. With over 25 years experience across various disciplines including Sports Massage, Therapy, Martial Arts, Healing Arts, Fitness, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Manicure and Pedicure. Jan has been a lecturer at Reading college where she gained her Cert Ed Teaching certificate and IVQs. Jan previously ran a successful teaching academy and is a freelance VTCT IQA
Vatché Papazian - VTCT Principal Trainer
Vatché has over 14 years of experience in Sports and Deep Tissue Massage, Swedish and Indian Head Massage as well as complementary therapies such as Reflexology and Reiki. He acquired his teacher qualification OCR Level 4 at Reading College. He has a loyal and satisfied client base delivering the above therapies. Vatche has taught body massage at a local community college and works freelance as Principal Tutor.
Lorraine Charlton - Freelance assessor for VTCT skills qualifaction
Having previously trained at Chichester University and studied HND in Beauty Therapy and Business Management. Lorraine also ran beauty salons in Debenhams Reading salon and trained therapists there. Also worked at Reading College teaching all aspects of beauty therapy gaining over 30 years experience. Lorraine has an assessor award as well as teaching award. Lorraine is looking forward to helping therapists achieve their goals and bring high quality therapists into salon and spa environments, by educating them with confidence to excel
