Behind the scenes at Holistic Beauty Academy, our dedicated tutors are constantly brainstorming fresh, innovative ideas for the upcoming courses. Their forward-thinking approach ensures that we are always progressing and offering the latest knowledge and techniques to our students.
Lisa Marie Hawtin - Founder
Lisa Marie has over 25 years experience in the beauty industry. Having worked and taught for big names such as Estee Lauder, Daniel Sandler’s personal team based at Harrods, Nirvana Spa, The Dorchester and The Four Seasons. Holistic Beauty Academy was always at the back of her mind and developing a new business seemed like an excellent challenge. Lisa Marie began teaching make-up on a one-to-one basis and loved the opportunities it gave her to work with really passionate people. Progressing to teach beauty treatments has built many years of expertise. This step led to amazing jobs in the spa industry and eventually, to opening Holistic Beauty Academy.
Jan Cox - IQA (Internal Quality Assurer)
Jan has a passion for the health and wellbeing sector. With over 25 years experience across various disciplines including Sports Massage, Therapy, Martial Arts, Healing Arts, Fitness, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Manicure and Pedicure. Jan has been a lecturer at Reading college where she gained her Cert Ed Teaching certificate and IVQs. Jan previously ran a successful teaching academy and is our VTCT IQA for Holistic Beauty Academy.
Vatché Papazian - VTCT Principal Trainer
Vatché has over 14 years of experience in Sports and Deep Tissue Massage, Swedish and Indian Head Massage as well as complementary therapies such as Reflexology and Reiki.
He acquired his teacher qualification OCR Level 4 at Reading College. He has a loyal and satisfied client base delivering the above therapies.
He has taught body massage at a local community college and has recently joined our team at Holistic Beauty Academy as Principal Tutor.
We are very pleased to have him on board.
Denise Parsons-Wolf -Assessor for Facial, Massage, and Reflexology and other Holistic Courses
Denise is a seasoned beauty and hair professional with over 20 years of experience. As a Level 3 beauty and hair expert, Denise brings vast knowledge and expertise to her role.Denise's true passion lies in advanced skincare, especially Skinceuticals.
With her skills in advanced skincare therapy, she's dedicated to helping students excel in this dynamic field.At HBA, Denise isn't just an instructor; she's a familiar face, having worked closely with us for 15 years. Her commitment to excellence and supportive approach make her an invaluable part of our team.
